This Spring I will be giving my lecture recital "Revisiting Dittersdorf: A Viennese Violone Perspective" at both Oberlin Conservetory and Cleveland Institute of Music. Dates and details TBA.
I will present my paper "Symbols of Virtuosity: Portraits of Cellists and Gambists in the Seventeenth and Eighteenth Centuries" this April at the annual meeting of the Society for Eighteeth-Century Music.
Sunday February 12 at 3 pm I will be playing violone at the Pittsburgh Calvary Episcopal Church with Pittsburgh Chatham Baroque, Pittsburgh Baroque ensemble plus guests in a program of Bach Cantatas 77, 51, and 21.
We are planning a program this summer of sixteenth- and seventeenth-century Italian and Spanish music for the Early Music Festival in Berkeley this summer. Details TBA.
